Gypsy Rose Blanchard, known for her role in “Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” recently underwent a nose job and is currently in the process of healing from the complex cosmetic procedure.
Speaking to People on Saturday, Blanchard revealed that she is still in a state of recovery following the surgery, which took place the day before. “I come in and out of sleep,” she said. “I was in pain at first, but I am on pain medicine.”
Despite the relief from pain medication, Blanchard shared that her rhinoplasty came with its challenges. “I can’t breathe through my nose because of the packing, but that comes off on the 10th,” she explained.
The 32-year-old, who was released from prison in December 2023 after serving time for her involvement in her mother’s murder, expressed eagerness to see the final result of the procedure. “I want to see it so bad,” she said.
Blanchard previously stated that her decision to undergo surgery was part of a “personal transformation journey,” which includes a physical aspect as well.
Amidst her recovery, Blanchard is also navigating a separation from her husband of nearly two years, Ryan Anderson. Last week, she announced their decision to split after just three months of living together following her release.
In a private Facebook post, Blanchard explained, “I am learning to listen to my heart… Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
Blanchard’s relationship with Anderson faced scrutiny amid rumors of infidelity with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker. However, a close friend of Blanchard clarified that the decision to end her marriage was due to her unhappiness, not infidelity.
“She left him because she wasn’t happy anymore,” said Nadiya Vizier, a friend of Blanchard’s. Vizier also alleged that Blanchard had experienced a frightening encounter with Anderson, leading to her decision to leave the marriage.
