AAP leader Raghav Chadha, also known as the husband of actress Parineeti Chopra, recently underwent emergency eye surgery in London to address a retinal hole. The surgery was crucial to prevent potential vision loss. Currently, Chadha is on bed rest, focusing on recovery.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Parineeti Chopra is expected to travel to London soon to be with her husband. Despite her busy schedule, she has been actively involved in Chadha’s medical care, making frequent visits and staying in touch during his doctor appointments.
Providing an update on Chadha’s health, a relative stated, “He had a hole in one of the retinae, which could have led to severe complications and potential vision loss. The surgery was risky, but it went well, and he is now on the path to recovery.” Chadha’s current treatment plan includes medication and regular eye tests, with doctors advising him to avoid sunlight and stay on bed rest until further notice.
Chadha’s return to India will depend on his doctors’ approval, and he is expected to remain in London for the time being. Despite his health challenges, he is reportedly trying to contribute to work remotely during his recovery period.
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra tied the knot in Udaipur in September 2023.
On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra’s recent film “Amar Singh Chamkila,” directed by Imtiaz Ali and featuring Diljit Dosanjh, has been well-received by both fans and film critics alike.
