Shannon Beador, star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, is receiving criticism from plastic surgeons over the results of her numerous cosmetic procedures. According to sources who have not treated Beador, her recent surgeries have left her with an appearance described as “freakish” and “distorted.”
Beador, 60, has undergone several cosmetic enhancements, and is currently involved in a legal dispute with her former partner, John Janssen. Janssen alleges that Beador owes him $75,000 for a facelift performed in 2022, a claim Beador disputes, asserting that the money was given as a gift. Following the procedure, Beador’s physician remarked, “I’ve never cut more skin out of a neck in my entire career.”
Dr. Yoel Shahar, a plastic surgeon based in New York, commented on Beador’s condition, stating, “Poor Shannon Beador! Her face looks distorted.” He attributed this to what he described as a poorly executed facelift, which resulted in unnatural lumps and puckering around the mouth. Additionally, Shahar noted extensive filler use in Beador’s lower cheeks, which he likened to “a golf ball implanted.”
Dr. Renato Calabria, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, also weighed in, agreeing that Beador’s use of fillers has been excessive. He noted that the volume restoration efforts appear to have gone too far.
Shahar further suggested that while some of the deformities could potentially be corrected by a skilled professional, not all issues may be reversible.
The situation highlights the risks associated with multiple cosmetic procedures and the challenges of addressing complications when they arise.
