Tamra Judge, known for her role on The Real Housewives of Orange County, has been sharing updates on her recovery journey following recent plastic surgery. At 57, Judge chose to undergo a brow lift and CO2 peel, revealing her decision stemmed from dissatisfaction with Botox, which she claimed had “stopped working.”
On her September episode of the Talking A Big Game podcast, Judge discussed her surgical procedures and the reactions from her family. She admitted that her post-surgery appearance, particularly following the brow lift, has startled her loved ones.
Judge’s decision for a brow lift, which she framed as a 57th birthday gift to herself, came after Botox injections, which she had relied on for years, no longer yielded the desired results. Speaking with The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast, Judge explained, “Botox is not working for me on my forehead anymore… it just decided ‘nope, not today, not today forehead’.”
When Bristowe inquired about the effectiveness of Botox over time, Judge confirmed, “You have to wait until you get to like 50… people say ‘well, change it up’, I tried, it didn’t work… my doctor was like ‘just get a brow lift’.” Faced with these realities, Judge opted for surgery as a more effective solution.
