Priyanka Chopra, a global icon and celebrated actress, continues to captivate audiences not only with her talent but also with her radiant skin. Recently, her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, shared insights into her daughter’s skincare routine, which has remained rooted in traditional Indian practices.
On September 20, Dr. Chopra took to Instagram during an event where she addressed a fan’s query about Priyanka’s skincare regimen. She proudly detailed how the actress has maintained her skin health from a young age. “She has always taken extraordinary care of her skin and hair, and she’s been fortunate to have good skin,” Dr. Chopra stated.
She elaborated that Priyanka’s routine includes oiling her hair, using ubtan on her face, and taking multivitamins. “She never had breakouts because this regimen has been part of her life since childhood,” Dr. Chopra explained.
However, she acknowledged the challenges posed by Priyanka’s demanding travel schedule, which often involves long-haul flights that can affect skin health. “As she travels around the world for 16 to 20 hours at a time, her skin does experience ups and downs,” she noted.
When asked if Priyanka still follows the traditional Indian skincare practices, Dr. Chopra confirmed, “Absolutely. From kachi malai to sugar scrubs and rice water masks, she incorporates it all.”
In her post, Dr. Chopra expressed her pride in her daughter’s dedication to skincare. “Priyanka has been committed to her skincare routine from a young age, blending DIY remedies with modern techniques,” she wrote. “It’s a harmonious mix of natural and professional care, allowing her skin to remain radiant despite her busy schedule.”
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra is currently filming the second season of her web series, Citadel. She recently shared updates about the shoot on her social media, much to the excitement of her fans.
