The Krishna Eye Centre, part of the ASG Group of Hospitals, has officially introduced its new Contoura Vision Laser machine, significantly advancing its eye care capabilities. This state-of-the-art technology promises to enhance patient outcomes by offering improved treatment options for a variety of vision issues.
Founders Dr. Sonia and Dr. Gul Nankani highlighted that the 7,000 sq. ft. facility is now equipped to address a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including cataracts, corneal issues, glaucoma, pediatric eye care, retina disorders, and strabismus (squint). The centre’s comprehensive approach is supported by a team of esteemed ophthalmic specialists, and it also features an optical showroom and pharmacy to meet all eye care needs.
Dr. Gul Nankani emphasized the centre’s commitment to making cutting-edge technology accessible to all patients. The introduction of the Contoura Vision Laser is particularly noteworthy, as it enhances traditional LASIK procedures by meticulously mapping and refining the unique contours of each patient’s cornea. This innovative approach significantly improves visual quality, with procedures lasting approximately 10 minutes and associated with rapid recovery times.
In addition to the Contoura Vision Laser, the centre employs advanced technologies such as LipiView for comprehensive dry eye assessments and Bynocs software for targeted therapeutic exercises, further enhancing the quality of care provided.
With this launch, Krishna Eye Centre aims to set a new standard in eye care, ensuring that advanced treatment options are available to all demographics in the community.
