Renowned Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Risper Faith has recently made waves on social media following her decision to undergo a hair transplant procedure aimed at restoring her hairline. The procedure was necessitated by hair loss attributed to the effects of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Risper detailed the transplant process, which involved removing hair follicles from the back of her head and transplanting them to the front to address thinning areas. She shared her excitement on social media, expressing anticipation for the results, which are expected to become visible in approximately three months.
In her posts, Risper emphasized that there is no need for Kenyans to travel abroad for such surgeries, as skilled professionals are readily available in Nairobi.
Risper Faith has been open about her journey with cosmetic procedures, having undergone several transformations in recent years. Notably, she had gastric sleeve surgery in 2023 to manage her weight, which had peaked at around 115 kg. This body transformation garnered significant attention online, especially six months post-surgery.
She has candidly shared her struggles with food as a source of comfort, which contributed to her health challenges. Despite facing criticism and body shaming, Risper has used her experiences to motivate her weight loss journey, inspiring many of her followers along the way.
Unlike her previous liposuction procedure, which she underwent in 2020, the gastric sleeve surgery has proven to be more successful. In her Instagram announcement, she revealed that she had 8 liters of fat removed from her stomach and lower back through liposuction, a procedure she pursued to regain her confidence and improve her marriage.
Following her first surgery, Risper experienced challenges finding clothing that fit her new figure, highlighting the impact of body transformation on daily life.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, liposuction is defined as a surgical procedure that removes unwanted fat deposits from specific body areas, including the abdomen, hips, thighs, and buttocks.
Risper Faith now joins a growing list of Kenyan celebrities who have embraced cosmetic surgery to achieve their desired body aesthetics.
