Renowned South Indian actress Nayanthara has recently addressed ongoing speculation regarding cosmetic surgery allegations. The actress, who made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster film Jawan, emphatically denied ever altering her appearance.
In the interview, Nayanthara explained the evolution of her looks over the years, attributing changes primarily to her grooming habits and weight fluctuations. “I love doing my brows. I take the time to perfect them because they’re the real game changer,” she stated, highlighting her focus on eyebrow grooming as a key factor in her appearance. “I’ve had different brow faces over the years. Maybe that’s why people think my face is changing, and I keep looking different.”
Addressing the rumors of plastic surgery, she insisted, “Maybe that’s why a lot of people think that I’ve done something to my face. But that’s not true. On record, not true. It’s not that it’s wrong, but for me, it has just been diet. So there’s been a lot of weight fluctuation, and my cheeks go in and out. You can pinch me, burn me, and you’ll know there’s no plastic in here.”
Since her debut in 2003 with the Malayalam film Manassinakkare, Nayanthara has starred in numerous multilingual blockbusters. Although she has faced speculation about undergoing procedures to enhance her features, she has remained largely silent on these allegations until now.
On the professional front, Nayanthara and her husband, Vignesh Shivan, are venturing into the skincare industry with the launch of their own skincare line and investments in various domestic businesses. Currently, she is looking forward to the release of two Tamil films, Test and Mannangatti, and is also filming a yet-to-be-titled project with actor Kavin, along with Dear Students starring Nivin Pauly.
Meanwhile, her husband Vignesh Shivan is busy working on his latest film, Love Insurance Kompany, which features Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and SJ Suryah.
