South Indian cinema star Nayanthara has finally spoken out about the persistent rumors regarding her alleged cosmetic surgeries. In a recent interview with a women’s magazine, she addressed speculations about changes to her facial features, attributing them instead to her diet, weight fluctuations, and evolving eyebrow styles.
During the conversation, the actress, known for her role in the blockbuster film “Jawan,” discussed her pre-red carpet ritual, highlighting her meticulous eyebrow grooming. “I take the time to perfect it because it’s the real game changer,” Nayanthara explained. She acknowledged that her various eyebrow phases over the years might contribute to the perception that her appearance is changing. “Maybe that’s why people think my face is changing and I keep looking different. Maybe that’s why a lot of people think I’ve done something to my face,” she added.
However, she firmly denied having undergone any surgical procedures. “But that’s not true. On record…not true. Not that it’s wrong. But for me, it has just been diet, so there’s been a lot of weight fluctuation, and my cheeks go in and out,” she asserted. To reinforce her point, she remarked, “You can pinch me, burn me, you’ll know there’s no plastic in here.”
On the professional front, Nayanthara was recently seen in the Tamil-language drama “Annapoorni: The Goddess of Food.” She has also completed filming for two upcoming Tamil projects, “Test” and “Mannangatti Since 1960,” and is currently engaged in filming for “Dear Students” alongside Nivin Pauly, as well as the sequel “Thani Oruvan 2.”
