French skincare brand Typology has ventured into the hotel industry with a new line of guest amenities, developed in collaboration with Groupe GM, a global leader in the guest amenity sector.
Reflecting Typology’s core commitment to sustainability, the new hotel line combines clean, eco-friendly formulations with minimalist packaging. The products are designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable options among environmentally conscious travelers, while maintaining the high-quality, simple elegance that Typology is known for.
Laurent Marchand, president of Groupe GM, expressed excitement about the collaboration: “We are delighted to work with such a renowned cosmetics brand like Typology. This partnership will allow us to introduce more eco-friendly amenities to our clients, all while meeting the level of luxury and quality expected from Groupe GM. The line reflects both companies’ core values and allows hotels worldwide to offer expertly crafted amenities with personal touches and attention to detail.”
The packaging design for the Typology hotel line stays true to the brand’s signature aesthetic, featuring monochromatic color schemes and clean lines that highlight the brand’s modern, minimalist appeal.
The fragrance of the hotel line further enhances the guest experience, blending top notes of orange and mandarin with heart notes of mandarin flower and jasmine petals, grounded by a warm base of vanilla and wood musk. This scent is designed to create an inviting, memorable ambiance, appealing to the sophisticated traveler.
In keeping with Typology’s focus on quality and sustainability, the hotel line’s formulations are dermatologically tested and free from PEG, sulfates, and silicones. Additionally, the products are vegan, gluten-free, and contain up to 98% natural ingredients. They are also RSPO certified for solid soaps and GMO-free. Key ingredients include panthenol (vitamin B5) for hydration and camellia extract for nourishment, with the body lotion enriched further with shea butter.
The line also features innovative eco-conscious packaging, including the patented Ecofill large-format dispenser. This refillable 300ml aluminum dispenser uses sealed, recyclable mono-plastic pouches to prevent bacterial contamination, ensuring product integrity. The dispenser system also enhances housekeeping efficiency and supports sustainability by optimizing the refilling process.
Complementing the large dispensers, Typology’s hotel line includes Groupe GM’s new Ghost dispenser, designed with a modern rectangular shape that aligns with Typology’s brand identity. Made from recycled plastic, the dispenser is mounted on a concealed rail, creating a floating visual effect that enhances the bathroom’s overall aesthetic.
Small-format bottles made from recycled plastic and aluminum tubes for body lotion complete the product range.
The new line also aligns with Groupe GM’s “Care About Earth” initiative, which focuses on reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability. Through eco-conscious design and responsible resource management, the program aims to protect the planet for future generations while reducing waste.
