Sharma remarked, “Face surgery is great. Today, you can completely change your appearance, and this could give you the opportunity to start fresh — perhaps even in the same place, but with a new identity. If you’ve hurt someone in the past, the new you might even earn their forgiveness since they no longer recognize the person who caused them pain.”
Sharma also weighed in on the entertainment industry’s obsession with beauty standards. While many in Bollywood feel pressured to meet a certain physical ideal, the actress revealed that she has not been affected by such expectations. “The movies I’m known for, like The Kerala Story, 1920, and Bastar, focused more on the depth of the characters and storytelling than on physical appearance,” she explained. “I don’t feel any pressure to live up to beauty standards. My main focus is on making each performance as authentic as possible.”
Sharma’s comments underscore her belief in the importance of substance over superficiality in her career. As for her current work, the actress is gaining attention for her role in Reeta Sanyal, an investigative thriller in which she plays 10 different characters.
