Drunk Elephant, a Texas-based skincare brand, has voluntarily recalled several of its products due to potential risks of skin irritation and contamination. The recall affects the Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser and two of the company’s face creams.
The jelly cleanser contains a preservative not listed in the ingredient list, which could lead to temporary adverse skin reactions for users. Additionally, the face creams were found to contain unlisted ingredients and lack necessary preservatives, potentially allowing for microbial growth that could pose further health risks.
Customers with affected products are encouraged to complete a recall form, after which they will be provided with a prepaid shipping label for a return, along with a refund and replacement of the products.
