Tori Spelling took a break from the spotlight to treat her five children to an ice cream outing on a surprisingly warm winter day in Calabasas on Wednesday. The 51-year-old actress, best known for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, embraced the Southern California sunshine with a casual look, opting for a black ribbed crop top and checkered jeans, foregoing a bra. However, it was her noticeably fuller lips that caught the public’s eye, sparking fresh rumors about possible cosmetic enhancements.
While Spelling has been open about previous procedures, including breast augmentations, her recent appearance has led to online speculation following her participation in Dancing with the Stars, where she faced harsh criticism about her changing looks. Despite the attention, the actress appeared unfazed, focusing on spending quality time with her children—Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7—whom she shares with ex-husband Dean McDermott.
The outing came just days after Spelling opened up about the challenges of single parenthood and the constant feeling of “mom guilt.” On the latest episode of her podcast, Misspelling, the actress discussed her struggle to balance work with raising her kids. “When I’m working and I’m gone all day, it falls a lot on my 16-year-old to really oversee the family,” Spelling explained. “I feel really guilty when I come home at the end of the day.”
The actress also touched on the difficulties of managing a family without outside help. “People have babysitters or nannies or housekeepers, but we’re just us,” she said, emphasizing that her family’s situation may be difficult for the public to understand.
Spelling further shared how the instability in her career, particularly in the entertainment industry, has affected her financial situation. “With five kids, I feel like I’m constantly letting them down because my life is not stable,” she said. “I can give love in abundance, but they’re on this roller coaster with me.”
In a candid conversation with Dr. Hillary Goldsher, a psychotherapist based in Beverly Hills, Spelling revealed that while she had enjoyed a period of financial stability thanks to her multiple shows and brand partnerships, the unpredictability of her career has led to difficult adjustments for her family. “My life is not stable. Their lives are not stable,” she said, expressing concern that her children are being exposed to more than she is comfortable with as the family navigates their changing circumstances.
Spelling, who filed for divorce from McDermott in March 2024, also spoke about the emotional toll of being scrutinized by the public. Despite the challenges, she remains focused on her family, stressing that she is doing her best under the circumstances.
In a lighter moment, Spelling addressed rumors about her recent cosmetic procedures during a segment of her Misspelling podcast. Responding to a fan’s comment about her breast augmentations, she joked, “I just got them done again, you guys. I know! I think these [breasts] aren’t the ones either, godd**n it. Third time will be the charm.”
Earlier this year, Spelling also revealed that she has been using diabetes medications Ozempic and Mounjaro to aid in weight loss after the birth of her fifth child.
