Actress Megan Fox has opened up about her experiences with plastic surgery, candidly discussing various procedures she’s undergone while also addressing rumors and misconceptions surrounding her appearance.
During a recent appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the 37-year-old star of “Jennifer’s Body” revealed details about her cosmetic enhancements. Despite a desire for transparency, Fox acknowledged the inevitability of facing criticism from online trolls regardless of her honesty.
Reflecting on her early twenties, Fox disclosed that she had breast augmentation surgery at the age of 21 or 22, followed by a subsequent revision after breastfeeding her children. She explained the necessity of replacing the initial implants due to visible rippling caused by insufficient body fat.
In addition to breast augmentation, Fox admitted to using Botox and fillers, as well as undergoing a rhinoplasty procedure in her early twenties. She debunked rumors of multiple rhinoplasties, emphasizing that she hasn’t pursued nasal surgery since her early twenties.
Addressing other speculation, Fox clarified that she has never undergone facelifts, brow lifts, or buccal fat removal. She expressed skepticism about certain procedures like thread lifts and emphasized her preference for enhancing her features with fat injections rather than removing fat from her body.
Despite her willingness to discuss her cosmetic journey, Fox admitted to withholding information about one particular procedure that she found particularly successful, hinting at a lesser-known cosmetic enhancement.
While Fox’s recent revelations mark a departure from her previous reluctance to discuss plastic surgery openly, she has previously spoken about struggling with body dysmorphia. In an interview with Sports Illustrated last year, she reflected on her lifelong challenges with body image and the ongoing journey towards self-acceptance.
For Fox, navigating the complexities of body image and cosmetic enhancement has been an ongoing process, underscored by her commitment to honesty tempered with the realities of public scrutiny and personal insecurities.
