Katie Price, the model and TV personality, has voiced her concerns about young women in their early twenties undergoing cosmetic procedures, stating that there is “nothing worse” and emphasizing the importance of educating them about the associated risks.
Although Price herself is known for undergoing cosmetic surgeries, she asserted that she’s “not a hypocrite” and highlighted that she didn’t start altering her face until she was in her forties. Reflecting on her own experiences, she mentioned having a boob job but refrained from getting fillers until later in life, cautioning that such procedures can be damaging to the body and often lead to an unnatural appearance.
Speaking on the podcast “How To Fail With Elizabeth Day,” Price, aged 45, shared her journey with cosmetic enhancements, revealing that she didn’t opt for Botox until her late twenties and had a negative experience with lip fillers initially. She expressed concern about the trend of young women all looking the same due to cosmetic enhancements, questioning what they would look like as they age.
Price, who is a mother of five, discussed the recovery process from surgeries and how it has deterred her children from considering similar procedures. She emphasized the importance of educating people about the realities of cosmetic surgery, highlighting the pain, cleaning, and other challenges involved in the process.
Despite her own choices, Price admitted that choosing her next plastic surgery felt like “going shopping” for her, acknowledging the temptation to pursue further enhancements. However, she expressed self-awareness about the potential consequences and the importance of maintaining a balance between looking good and avoiding an overly artificial appearance.
In recent years, Price has been more open about her personal life, including her experiences raising her disabled son, Harvey, who has autism and Prader-Willi syndrome. She also revealed her diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attributing some of her past decisions to the condition.
Price, who now earns income from producing content on OnlyFans, has faced financial difficulties, declaring bankruptcy for the second time recently. She attributed some of her financial woes to the influence of men in her life and reflected on her marriages and legal issues in the public eye.
