Olivia Culpo has taken to social media to address plastic surgery rumors, setting the record straight during a Coachella “Get Ready With Me” video posted on Sunday, April 14.
In a TikTok video, the former Miss Universe winner, 31, denied ever having undergone plastic surgery. She clarified, “I have never had plastic surgery,” while also expressing non-judgment towards those who have chosen cosmetic enhancements. Addressing common comments about changes in her appearance, Culpo debunked assumptions about procedures such as buccal fat removal, asserting that she embraces her natural features.
Instead, Culpo candidly shared details about her experience with injectables. She disclosed receiving Botox above both eyebrows and on the outsides of her chin, explaining her avoidance of forehead injections due to unwanted eyebrow elevation. Culpo also acknowledged lip fillers but emphasized her decision to refrain from jaw and cheek fillers in recent years, opting to enhance rather than alter her facial structure.
Reflecting on her journey to self-acceptance, Culpo acknowledged experimenting with cosmetic procedures in the past, including Botox on her cupid’s bow, which resulted in an “insane” appearance. However, she underscored the importance of inner happiness and self-acceptance, highlighting the choice to undergo cosmetic enhancements as a personal preference rather than a necessity.
Culpo’s rise to fame began with her Miss Universe win in 2012, with her beauty often a topic of public interest. Despite her prominence in the beauty industry, Culpo has expressed a preference for enhancing her natural features rather than undergoing drastic transformations.
“I’m not a huge fan of changing what your face looks like,” Culpo remarked in a video for Vogue, emphasizing her commitment to working with her existing features. “I like the idea of enhancing the things that make you different instead of creating a whole new face.”
