Jade Pywell, known for her role on Married At First Sight, has publicly shared her recent experience of breast implant replacement surgery. The 26-year-old reality TV star, who is married to Ridge Barredo, 27, first surprised her followers with images of herself in a hospital bed, but initially kept the reason for her hospital stay private. Ridge later reassured fans with a post stating, “She’s alive!” alongside a post-surgery photo of Jade.
In a subsequent update, Jade confirmed that she had undergone breast implant replacement surgery. She disclosed that while there had been consideration to remove the implants entirely, she chose to replace them, noting her relatively young age as a factor in her decision. “I figured I’d get them in one more time and then, when it’s time to renew them, I’ll just get them out completely,” Jade explained.
Jade revealed that she opted for the procedure in Turkey, despite her apprehension about surgery. “Surgeries really scare me. I was wheeled into the operating room and I thought, ‘Why am I here? I don’t need to be doing this,'” she admitted.
After spending one night in the hospital, Jade expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the surgery. She experienced some swelling, which she humorously described as making her “whole body is a balloon,” and shared a lighthearted selfie from a day out in Istanbul with Ridge.
Jade, who has 165,000 Instagram followers, has promised to keep her audience updated on her recovery progress. She noted, “I am only 2 days post-op! I will give more updates as I go.”
This surgery update comes shortly after Jade and Ridge celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Reflecting on their journey, Jade posted, “Not sure but I think he might want to keep me a little longer. On August 28 last year I was walking down the aisle, and on August 28 this year we are getting ready to leave for our third international trip together. Who would’ve thought?”
