The backlash follows similar accusations directed at her husband, actor Rajkummar Rao, who has also faced online criticism for presumed cosmetic enhancements. Users have been comparing recent photos of Patralekha from the show with earlier images, suggesting that her altered appearance mirrors the surgery rumors surrounding Rao.
One Reddit user commented on Patralekha’s new look, stating, “While watching IC814, I noticed Patralekha looked different and not in a flattering way. She had a naturally beautiful face before; I wonder why some actresses opt for surgery with such disappointing results.” Another user humorously speculated about the possible motives behind the changes, saying, “My husband and I joked that they must have asked for a discount.”
