Chrishell Stause, star of Netflix’s “Selling Sunset,” recently revealed that she underwent breast implant surgery after discovering her original implants had ruptured during a full body scan earlier this year. The 43-year-old reality star shared the news on Instagram on September 15, expressing her initial fears about the potential complications of surgery.
Upon learning about the ruptures, Stause consulted plastic surgeon Josef Hadeed and scheduled her surgery for June 27. In her post, she noted that the procedure involved removing all silicone and replacing her 15-year-old implants, which she humorously referred to as “vintage.”
Stause explained that she had not experienced any symptoms prior to the scan, which she described as “scary.” She emphasized the importance of being proactive about health, stating that many individuals might unknowingly be living with similar issues.
Reflecting on her surgery experience, she noted it was “so much easier than I had built it up” but cautioned that plastic surgery is a personal decision. “I’m in no way encouraging anyone to change anything about their body,” she said, highlighting the importance of personal choice and health awareness.
In a subsequent Instagram Q&A, Stause shared images of her ruptured implants and discussed her smooth recovery, expressing that she felt great. She also shared a lighthearted video of her spouse, G Flip, driving her home after the procedure, joking about her medication-induced state.
G Flip, 30, chimed in on social media, sharing that Chrishell spoke in Spanish and humorously pretended not to recognize him while under the influence of pain medication.
Stause’s candid discussion about her health scare and recovery serves as a reminder of the importance of regular medical check-ups and personal health monitoring.
