Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently underwent a minor eye surgery, humorously claiming he can now “read even between the lines.”
The 48-year-old actor expressed gratitude to Dr. Burjor Banaji and his wife for the successful procedure. A source close to Khan confirmed that the surgery was for vision correction and that he is doing well.
Adding a lighthearted touch, Khan quipped, “This is a joke…so some of you don’t react as an anti-alcohol group. ‘Now that I don’t need glasses, I will drink straight from the bottle.’”
Khan’s next project in Bollywood is the eagerly awaited film “Happy New Year,” directed by Farah Khan.
