Joey Graziadei is committed to achieving a perfect score on “Dancing with the Stars.” The 29-year-old former “Bachelor” star recently shared a TikTok video from Velour Medical, where he received Botox injections in his armpits to manage excessive sweating. The video featured text stating, “Making sure Joey stays sweat free on DWTS,” while the medical spa explained that Botox can treat hyperhidrosis, which is defined as excessive sweating.
Though Graziadei has not publicly commented on the treatment, he appeared relaxed during the procedure. TikTok users noted his focused demeanor, with one commenter saying, “he’s so intensely focused.” Many users expressed gratitude for raising awareness about hyperhidrosis, while others were intrigued by the procedure itself, with one remarking, “Wow, didn’t even know they have this procedure.”
Graziadei is competing in the 33rd season of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside partner Jenna Johnson. At the season premiere on September 17, he shared his nerves about performing but looked forward to the journey. “It’s nice to have [Jenna] as a safe space,” he told, emphasizing his desire to impress his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, whom he proposed to on “The Bachelor.” He expressed appreciation for her support during his intense rehearsal schedule.
In their first performance, Graziadei and Johnson danced the Cha Cha to Tyler Hubbard’s “Dancing in the Country,” earning a score of 21 out of 30. Graziadei remarked, “I was told anything six or higher, I should be stoked,” reflecting on his surprise at receiving three sevens from the judges. Johnson jokingly noted her nervousness about watching their performance back.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available for streaming the following day on Hulu.
