Australian influencer Skye Wheatley, 30, has recently shared the results of her fox eye lift surgery on social media after removing her post-surgery bandages. The controversial procedure was performed in Turkey, and Wheatley has been relatively private about the results until now.
On Thursday, she took to her Instagram Stories to showcase her new look, filming herself in her car as she peeled away the bandages in favor of lighter tape. “Results coming in hot,” she captioned a brief video where she rotated her head to display both sides of her face.
In her update, Wheatley explained that the see-through tape is meant to aid her healing process and minimize swelling. The fox eye thread lift employs dissolvable PDO (polydioxanone) threads to elevate the outer corners of the brows, creating a look reminiscent of a surgical fox eye lift but without the invasive operation.
Earlier this week, she addressed fans’ curiosity about her decision to keep her face partially covered. In response to a follower’s question about why she wasn’t showing her eyes, Wheatley admitted, “Because I’m 2 weeks post-op and I just can’t be f***ed with people’s opinions right now,” indicating that her recovery is still in the early stages. She anticipates it will take at least three months for her face to fully settle.
In addition to the fox eye lift, Wheatley underwent several other procedures during her trip, including liposuction, a temporal lift, and a blepharoplasty. The fox eye lift aims to achieve an almond shape commonly associated with dramatic makeup, with results lasting between six to twelve months.
These latest enhancements are part of a decade-long journey of cosmetic procedures for the Big Brother star. Recently, she faced backlash from followers who labeled her as having a “plastic surgery addiction.” During a live Instagram Q&A, she emphasized the importance of transparency, stating, “Everyone is beautiful with or without surgery,” and that she intends to be open about her enhancements.
Despite her surgeon’s advice against additional liposuction, Wheatley expressed her desire to pursue further procedures, citing her goal for facial symmetry.
