Shreveport Police Department Searches for Michael Flowers
The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is seeking Michael Flowers, a man accused of severely beating a woman during a domestic incident.
The alleged assault took place in the 300 block of Ratcliff Street. According to the victim’s report, her ex-boyfriend struck her multiple times in the face with her cellphone, causing her to lose consciousness.
After regaining consciousness, the victim fled to a neighbor’s house to seek help. SPD officials noted that she sustained severe lacerations to the left side of her face and left eye.
The victim was subsequently transported to Ochsner LSU Health, where she underwent emergency eye surgery due to her injuries.
As a result of this incident, warrants have been issued for Michael Flowers. He faces charges of second offense domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse battery inflicting serious bodily injury.
