In a recent episode of Olivia Attwood’s podcast So Wrong It’s Right, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ashley Stobart candidly shared her experiences with cosmetic surgery, leaving Attwood astonished. Stobart, who co-hosts the Nip Tuck podcast with Lauren Harris, detailed her journey through multiple procedures, including a full facelift that she underwent just three months ago.
Attwood wasted no time in addressing the topic, stating, “Ashley, let’s talk about the facelift because I know people will be obsessed with this. Three months ago, you had a full facelift […] People are going to be like, what the f***, she’s 34, this is insane.” Stobart explained that her decision for the surgery stemmed from years of fillers that had altered her facial definition. She revealed, “I didn’t look like me anymore because I’d been filled up, put back in.”
Stobart further elaborated on the effects of pregnancy on her appearance, noting that fillers retain water, which resulted in a fuller face during her pregnancies. “I loved it. And then I had this double chin, which was not a good look. So yeah, I just was like, I need a facelift and I went and had one,” she said. Stobart noted that her surgeon removed four centimeters from each side of her face, a revelation that left Attwood momentarily speechless.
Attwood remarked, “But you still look like you. You don’t look like a different person. You haven’t walked in here and I’ve gone [shocked face].” However, she grimaced when Stobart recounted the surgeon squeezing filler out of her face for hours during the procedure.
Audience reactions to the episode were mixed, with some expressing admiration for Stobart’s appearance. One viewer commented on the podcast’s video, “I want the name of the surgeon!!! You look amazing,” while another said, “She actually looks so pretty. A facelift should be considered a tightening treatment.” Conversely, one listener expressed relief, stating, “I’m so glad I couldn’t afford this stuff when I was impressionable.”
In addition to her recent facelift, Stobart shared her ongoing experiences with cosmetic treatments on her Nip Tuck podcast. During her conversation with Attwood, she also revealed her struggles with finding a surgeon willing to operate on her due to her age. “Every year I used to send him an email—‘please?’ No try again next year. So it went on for four years,” she explained. Ultimately, when she received a positive response, she was shocked to discover that the starting price for the procedure was £60,000. Fortunately, a friend referred her to another surgeon who agreed to take her on.
