Bronwyn Newport, a new face on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has spoken candidly about her cosmetic surgeries, particularly her rhinoplasties, shedding light on the emotional and physical journey she’s undergone.
In Season 5, Episode 4 of the Bravo series, Newport made a lighthearted comment about her nose surgeries while addressing some misconceptions about her persona. During a conversation with cast member Britani Bateman, Newport joked about her past procedures, saying, “If Britani wanted to say that I’m on my third nose and that is vain, yes, it is! I am on my third nose!” she said, adding, “That would be a read that I would be like, ‘Bravo! This bitch truly came to play today.'”
Bronwyn’s Rhinoplasty Journey
Newport has documented her rhinoplasty journey on social media. In a 2020 Instagram Story, which has since been saved as a highlight, she shared images of her nose before her initial surgery. She posted a series of photos showing her original nose, which she referred to as “pre original rhinoplasty.” Alongside these pictures, Newport explained her reasons for undergoing multiple nose jobs, starting with her disappointment after the first surgery.
After her initial procedure, she revealed that she was “very disappointed” with the results, stating that her nose still appeared “so long” and “droopy.” She added that while the swelling had decreased three months after surgery, she felt the results were only “okay” and questioned whether the surgery had improved her breathing.
Reflecting on Her Decision
Years after her first procedure, Newport decided to undergo a second rhinoplasty revision. In her Instagram Stories, she shared the thought process behind this decision, explaining that although she had “made peace” with her nose, she felt it was still too wide and droopy at the tip. Reflecting on her initial surgery, she revealed that her mindset was not ideal for such a procedure at the time, noting, “The first time I was insecure, and I don’t think you should get surgery in that mind frame.”
In the Instagram video, Newport expressed concerns about her first surgeon, recalling several “red flags” during her initial consultation. She mentioned that the surgeon focused more on her cystic acne scars and even suggested she consider breast implants. “Every one of those things should have been red flags,” she said, adding that she should have advocated for herself better during the consultation.
The Final Results
Following her third rhinoplasty, Newport was finally pleased with the results. She shared updates on social media, revealing that her breathing had significantly improved, and she was happy with the aesthetic outcome. “I can see the width is thinner, and the tip is much more lifted,” she said, expressing hope for the final product once the swelling subsided.
Despite her satisfaction with the surgery, Newport did mention a few challenges during recovery, particularly related to her skincare routine. “I haven’t been able to really do all my full skincare routine,” she said, explaining that her healing process had limited the use of certain products.
A Positive Conclusion
When asked by a follower on Instagram if she was happy with her latest revision, Newport responded enthusiastically. “Honestly, yes!” she said, sharing a photo with her husband, Todd Bradley, and sports icon Derek Jeter. She emphasized that while the surgery helped her overcome insecurities about her nose, she still feels like herself. Newport also praised her Utah-based surgeon, Dr. Scott K. Thompson, for his work and support throughout her rhinoplasty journey.
