ViOL, a global leader in medical aesthetic devices, is expanding its footprint in the Latin American market through a strategic partnership with Brazilian company ENTERA. The collaboration follows the certification of ViOL’s premium product, Sylfirm X, by Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) in December 2023. With this approval, ViOL and ENTERA are working together to extend their reach among dermatology and plastic surgery professionals across Brazil.
The latest step in this partnership occurred on September 14, when ViOL showcased Sylfirm X at the Conecta Experience 2024 in São Paulo. This major event, a key gathering for the medical community in Brazil, attracted around 600 dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge medical devices, including Sylfirm X, which incorporates advanced South Korean technology. The event marked a milestone in introducing Korean aesthetic and healthcare solutions to Brazilian professionals, receiving a strong, positive response from participants.
Later, on September 29, ViOL hosted the “2024 Sylfirm X Global Symposium” in Seoul, where 20 Brazilian medical experts, including leading figures in the field, attended. The symposium offered an in-depth look at the advanced technology behind Sylfirm X, with a particular focus on its clinical applications in Brazil. Attendees were trained on the device’s Dual Wave RF technology, which addresses common skin issues such as hyperpigmentation, redness, and the stimulation of collagen production.
Notable speakers at the symposium shared their experiences with Sylfirm X. Dr. Suneel Chilukuri discussed the device’s ability to improve pigmentation and redness simultaneously using Dual Wave RF technology. Dr. Eunice Park highlighted Sylfirm X’s effectiveness in skin tightening for a variety of skin types, offering tailored treatment strategies informed by K-beauty clinical practices. Dr. Jaewoo Park, a renowned Korean plastic surgeon, emphasized the device’s long-term safety and effectiveness based on over a decade of real-world clinical data. Meanwhile, Hyeon Gyeong Kim introduced a new method for treating scalp and hair follicle health, showcasing Sylfirm X’s potential in combating hair loss.
Following the symposium, ENTERA plans to launch additional clinical training programs for Brazilian practitioners, integrating the feedback gathered from the event. This initiative aims to enhance the local adoption of Sylfirm X and increase its recognition across Brazil. By leveraging this strong partnership, ViOL and ENTERA are poised to continue their expansion throughout Latin America, further establishing South Korea’s advanced medical aesthetics and healthcare technology on the global stage.
