Oti Mabuse, known for her stunning appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity, has revealed a beauty secret that helps her maintain radiant skin and luscious hair. The 34-year-old Dancing On Ice judge swears by a £24 collagen supplement, which she credits for her youthful appearance and confidence.
In an interview, Oti shared that she incorporates collagen supplements into her daily routine along with multivitamins, zinc, and magnesium. She explained that she is also cutting back on sugary sodas, opting instead for dissolvable vitamin C tablets.
“I’ve got to think of the future. I want to look sexy in my 40s,” she said, highlighting her commitment to self-care.
The collagen supplements she uses come in lemon-flavored sachets, available on Amazon for £2 per serving. The product is marketed as a premium marine collagen drink enriched with essential amino acids and vitamin C, promising benefits for skin, hair, and nails.
Collagen is known to be the most abundant structural protein in the human body, playing a key role in the health of skin, hair, and nails. As part of her skincare routine, Oti also practices double cleansing and follows a strict daily regimen.
Alongside her beauty tips, Oti has opened up about her journey to self-love. Reflecting on old Instagram videos from her 20s, she admitted that she once struggled with body image. “I remember being like, ‘I’m overweight. I’m big and I need to get smaller.’ Now though, I see I had a six-pack, long legs, and my boobs were perky. I’m like, ‘What?! I can’t believe I gave myself such a hard time,’” she said.
In addition to sharing her beauty secrets, Oti made an emotional revelation during her time on I’m A Celebrity. She opened up about the tragic loss of her teenage brother, who took his own life at the age of 16. Speaking to campmates, Oti expressed her belief that mental health discussions are vital, especially among young men.
Praising fellow campmate Danny Jones for his openness about his struggles with anxiety, Oti shared her own experience, saying, “I think it’s really good that you keep saying people must talk, especially young boys. The suicide rate is so high in young men, and it’s important to encourage them to open up.”
Oti, who hails from Pretoria, South Africa, also spoke about the cultural challenges around discussing mental health, revealing that in her community, people often refrain from sharing their emotions.
The star, who gained fame as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, continues to inspire audiences with her resilience, beauty, and openness. Her sister, Motsi Mabuse, also plays a prominent role on the show as a judge.
