Kaitlyn Bristowe, former Bachelorette star, has long faced speculation about cosmetic procedures, but she’s finally opening up about her choices. Taking to Instagram this week, Bristowe confirmed she had undergone a cosmetic procedure, sharing personal details and photos of her recovery.
In her post, Bristowe shared a candid image from her hospital bed with her eyes covered, explaining the challenging week she had experienced. Alongside her own procedure, her pets were also facing medical issues, with one dog undergoing surgery and another having a tooth pulled.
Bristowe revealed she had an upper blepharoplasty, a procedure designed to remove excess skin around the eyes. “A lot going on at the Bristowe residence. All 3 of us have stitches. I got an upper bleph (take it to your group chat if you wanna be negative). Ramen had a fatty tumor removed. (Please pray for it to come back normal) Pinot had a tooth pulled,” she captioned the post.
Since her time on The Bachelorette in 2017, Bristowe has been open about other enhancements, including a brow lift, brow microblading, teeth bonding, lip filler, and a lip flip she had last year. She also joked about learning how to contour and embracing her naturally darker hair.
In subsequent posts, Bristowe updated her followers on her recovery progress, showing photos of her healing. Fans, including fellow Bachelor franchise alums, flooded the comments with praise, many expressing admiration for her courage in sharing the details. Several expressed interest in undergoing similar procedures themselves.
Just four days after her surgery, Bristowe shared that one side of her eyelids had already healed significantly. She also revealed that she took steroids to aid her recovery and credited them for helping speed up the healing process.
Bristowe’s transparency has sparked a wave of positive support, as she continues to share her journey with fans.
