Dani Lyons has addressed recent accusations about undergoing plastic surgery, following a noticeable change in her appearance. The 51-year-old star of My Mum Your Dad debuted a youthful new look after undergoing a series of non-invasive cosmetic treatments.
Lyons revealed that her refreshed appearance is the result of InMode’s Morpheus 8 Burst, a cutting-edge fractional radiofrequency device designed to tighten soft tissue. Inspired by the Kardashian family’s use of the treatment, Lyons began visiting her local cosmetic clinic in Essendon to try the procedure, which has gained popularity for its non-surgical rejuvenation effects.
The treatment not only transformed Lyons’ look but also caught the attention of her onscreen partner, Des Milson, who was inspired to try it himself. However, My Mum Your Dad was cancelled late last year. Nine confirmed that the show would not return in 2024, citing the busy Olympic schedule. Reports from TV Blackbox suggested the cancellation came as a surprise to many within the network, as the news leaked before official announcements were made.
The show’s second season, which aired in 2023, struggled with disappointing ratings, with the premiere drawing only 290,000 viewers—down 26% from its 2022 debut. Despite this, Dani continues to capture attention for her personal and professional journey.
In addition to her beauty treatments, Dani recently went viral after sharing a frustrating encounter with a driver who parked too closely to her car. In a TikTok video, she expressed her irritation, saying, “Not sure why old mate thought it was okay to park right at my bum hole,” while demonstrating the tight parking situation. With a humorous twist, she shared that she wasn’t afraid to nudge the other vehicle out of the way if necessary.
Dani later revealed in the comments that after five attempts, she successfully maneuvered out of the parking spot, showcasing her determination and resilience—traits that have endeared her to fans both on and off screen.
