Christina Haack, the HGTV star best known for Flip or Flop, has faced significant public scrutiny in recent years, from her high-profile divorce from Josh Hall to her ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Ant Anstead. However, one of the most persistent sources of speculation surrounding the TV personality involves her appearance, with many fans questioning whether she has undergone plastic surgery.
Since her breakout role with former spouse Tarek El Moussa on Flip or Flop, Haack’s appearance has noticeably evolved, leading to widespread rumors about Botox, fillers, and breast implants. While she has neither confirmed nor denied undergoing full-body plastic surgery, Haack has addressed some procedures she has experienced, including breast implants and facial fillers. However, these procedures have not always gone as planned.
In 2022, Haack took to Instagram to share her negative experience with under-eye fillers. Posting a photo of her swollen face, she described how the filler treatment did not resolve as expected, prompting her to use hyaluronidase and ultrasound therapy to dissolve the filler. “Never again,” she wrote, vowing not to repeat the procedure.
Later that year, Haack raised concerns about the impact her breast implants may have had on her health, questioning whether they could be linked to some of the medical challenges she has faced in recent years.
Health issues have plagued Haack for some time. In 2020, she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid, causing symptoms like thinning hair, fatigue, and joint pain. The following year, she underwent extensive gastrointestinal testing for issues related to chronic stomach pains, which had been troubling her since 2016. In 2022, Haack revealed that she had been diagnosed with mercury and lead poisoning, likely as a result of exposure to old homes during her Flip or Flop days.
Amidst these health battles, Haack has considered the possibility that her breast implants might be contributing to her ailments. In a post shared shortly after her Instagram story on fillers, she revealed plans to consult with doctors about removing the implants. Despite the physical challenges she faces, Haack remains committed to maintaining a healthy and positive lifestyle, focusing on her fitness and well-being.
