The National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA), Jalandhar chapter, hosted its monthly seminar under the leadership of Dr. SP Dalia. The event featured insightful talks by prominent eye specialists Dr. Rohan Bowry and Dr. Saurabh Sood.
The seminar commenced with a prayer and a welcome address from Dr. Rajiv Dhawan, Secretary of NIMA. Dr. Bowry highlighted the latest advancements in refractive eye surgeries, discussing procedures such as PRK with Excimer, LASIK with MEL 80, and Small Femto Smile. He emphasized their efficiency and pain-free outcomes while also addressing the impact of diabetes, stress, and medications on eye health.
Dr. Sahil Kalia presented a thorough overview of diabetes, focusing on its complications and management strategies. To conclude the seminar, the main speakers were presented with mementos in recognition of their contributions.
